The Miguel Hernández University Science Park has joined the Alicante Futura Committed Partners network, taking another step towards strengthening collaboration between institutions, companies, and talent in the province with a common goal: to promote innovation and economic development in our region.
Tonia Salinas, Managing Director of the Science Park, welcomed Mari Carmen de España, Councilor for Employment and Economic Development; Vicente Seguí, Director General of Employment, Business Development, and the New Economy; and Elisa Díaz, Head of the Employment and Development Service at the Local Development Agency (ADL), accompanied by the Alicante Futura and ALIA teams.
During the signing of the collaboration agreement, visits were also made to two companies linked to the UMH Science Park, which represent the innovative potential of the ecosystem.
On one hand, the delegation from Alicante City Council had the opportunity to learn more about the Bioarray laboratory, which specializes in the genetic diagnosis of human diseases. Bioarray works to translate advances in genomics into clinical practice using cutting-edge technology, contributing to more accurate diagnoses and treatments with greater chances of success.
They also visited the facilities of Emxys, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of high-precision electronics for aerospace, scientific, and industrial applications. Emxys develops state-of-the-art technology for space instrumentation, embedded systems, and advanced electronics.
This alliance between the Miguel Hernández University Science Park and Alicante Futura reinforces their commitment to an increasingly innovative, connected, and competitive region, where collaboration between universities, businesses, and government drives new growth opportunities.
