Alicante welcomes a business delegation of German investors interested in exploring the economic potential of the Alicante-Elche area.
The event was organized by the German Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, the Elche City Council, and the Alicante City Council, through the municipal strategy ALIA – Alicante Investment Agency of the Local Development Agency Impulsalicante. The objective is to strengthen ties between Alicante’s business community and the German market in order to attract new investments from Germany by 2027.
The meeting, held at Teselas, featured presentations by Vicente Seguí, Director General of Employment, Business Development, and New Economy for the Alicante City Council; Mischa Groh, Managing Director of the German Chamber of Commerce for Spain (AHK Spanien); and Luis Barcala, Mayor of Alicante, who delivered the closing remarks.
Also present were prominent companies from the province, such as Aliaxis, Pompadour Ibérica, Sprinter, Fundación Ellis, Aludium, Realturf, Q Pharma, and Alicante Port, reflecting the innovative and entrepreneurial potential of Alicante’s business community.
The agenda continues today with visits to various companies in the province, allowing the delegation to gain firsthand knowledge of the capabilities, talent, and investment opportunities that our region offers.
This meeting follows the line of action initiated during the 1st Spanish-German Business Forum to strengthen ties and foster connections between both countries.
Impulsalicante and ALIA continue working to build connections, attract investment, and position Alicante as a strategic destination for business development.
