New Collaboration Agreement to Strengthen Alicante’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

The Alicante City Council and Jovempa, the Federation of Young Entrepreneurs Associations of the Province of Alicante, have signed a new collaboration agreement to strengthen the province’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The agreement resulted from a meeting held last Friday between the Mayor of Alicante, Luis Barcala, and the Jovempa board of directors, led by Alfonso Calero, president of the Jovempa Federation, and Pedro Ponce, president of Jovempa Alicante, along with other representatives of the organization.

This agreement establishes a framework for cooperation aimed at promoting innovation, sustainability, and the development of Alicante’s digital ecosystem, fostering initiatives that encourage business competitiveness and generate new opportunities for the province’s economic fabric.

Currently, Jovempa represents nearly 600 entrepreneurs and 1,500 companies across all the districts of Alicante, establishing itself as one of the leading business organizations in the region.

The alliance is structured through Impulsalicante, in coordination with Alicante Futura and ALIA Invest in Alicante. Furthermore, the meeting also includes Jovempa joining Alicante Futura as a Committed Partner, strengthening the network of entities committed to the economic and technological development of Alicante.
